BPO or Company Process Outsourcing is a very common and mushrooming phenomenon nowadays. BPO can be defined as successfully achieving a company task from some outside agency. Say for example a company can ask or hire an external agency to maintain its old records and accounts. The phenomenon of outsourcing was not so well established before ten years. Initially some of the relatively small and low-grade jobs like old storage record of the company were outsource in United States. Gradually using the budding achievement and confidence, valuable and crucial jobs like pay-roll accounting, hr tasks — recruitment, training and development of employees joined the fray. Outsource jobs most often involve the ones, which require to be performed on a regular or daily basis. The businesses now forget about perform such tasks, that they used to perform themselves. Like hiring of a consultant company for training of recent employees, getting advertisements made from a marketing firm over the seas. Outsourcing has numerous benefits. It allows a company to identify and concentrate on its core competencies. The organization can outsource every other task that may be taken up by outside agencies which requires significant time and energy (like training of new employees, making recruitments, marketing and manufacturing of products etc.). This lends the opportunity to the organization to fully focus on its core competency. Along with this the low cost factor is equally important.
